Scheduled Maintenance Tonight 7/29

The board will be down briefly around 11 PM EDT as we move the site to a faster server.

Thanks for your patience. It should not take very long.

We have seen the requests for a chat feature and will look into it as well.

One question though...if people are chatting, then that means they're not posting, right?

I guess the more features the better, and this would just be like a faster PM maybe.

It helps too when you are engaged in a debate and want to let someone on your side know a factoid etc.

Why not just post that in the thread? Do you want to make it seem like the other person thought of it all by himself? :)

It's all good by me, I'm sure I'll try it out. For now I kind of post personal messages in threads when maybe I shouldn't be doing it.

Well I don't know. I've only seen this feature on one forum before but I thought it was cool. It's pointless right now but when we get more members it will be handy. You'll see.
