Obama took out Osama Bin Laden. Obama took out Muammar Gadaffi. Bush took out a paper tiger Hussein. Meanwhile cozying up to the rest of the dictators in the Middle East. So you want to tell me who is the real President who is tough on the "thugs and mullahs"?

Bush got a bad reaction to his statements about Iran because everyone was afraid he was going to jump into that war without planning just like he did in Iraq. Also everyone knew that we could not handle Iran and Iraq at the same time. Believe me if we had not already been sucked into the mess that was Iraq people would have responded to his saber rattling very differently. And that is another thing that made this country look bad is Bush making threats and then doing nothing to back it up. He encouraged Iran and Ahmedinijad to go wild because they knew there was nothing the US was going to do about it. We were already stretched too thin.

Bush's foreign policy legacy will always be that he was the one to allow Iran to become nuclear capable.

Seems you forgot that part of history where the Israeli's destroyed Iraq's Nuclear Reactor with an Airstrike in 1986. All with the Approval of Bilbo the Clown.

Isn't the destroying of the reactor a good thing? How was Clinton involved if it was 1986?

Damn.....Yeah I dont know what I was thinking there. Reagan was President. Still the Israeli's were the one to take out that Reactor. IMO it was a good thing. So twenty some years ago Israel's Allies would have backed the play anyways.

Yet I thought Reagan, even tho he won the arms race that he was the President who had cut the most from defense since Eisenhower? The closest to him being Carter.

There is simply no earthly way that the United States military could have fought ground wars in Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan simultaneously and achieved any level of success. To suggest so is to embrace the path of madness!

mindless blather even for a liberal, but sometimes i forget how disconnected to reality, the facts, simple truths and the rule of law the left has become....was obama on that chopper or was that seal team six and by the way how was that intel gathered....i hear there is a book coming out shortly re the assassination of osama and it gives a different account of the events than the prez & cabal....just why did we wait some nine months before moving on osama, what were the orders given the seal team, and what were a team of lawyers doing on board.....as for gadaffi, we attacked a sovereign nation without cause and in violation of the constitution, we then ignored federal law that being the war powers resolution, the end result of this will be an islamic libya that took months not "days" and billions in the making, brilliant....by the way some guesstimated 20,000 shoulder fired surface to air missiles have gone missing as well as chemical and biological weapons, again brilliant....in fact the whole arab spring has not produced anything resembling democracy beyond a lynch mob.....other than unilateral disarmament and back stabbing the israelis we have no foreign policy....if you are desiring to bash bush you are speaking to the choir.....iraq was poorly planned and managed, bush was a lousy communicator and fiscally irresponsible....of course your desire to live in the past while cutting and pasting history will not save you from the simple reality that your boy is an abject failure of historical proportions both at home and abroad.....but this is what happens when public ed has for decades been employed to infect the masses with ignorance and self loathing....hope and change has turned out to be little more than affirmative action taken to it's predictable conclusion, that being a once great nation saddled with a pretender and chief riding a culture that is for all to see vacant.....

I think Hillary could beat BO now that his track record equals a failed economy.  But she's a big spender too. I'm surprised the loons didn't get more serious about finding a candidate.

I did read that Chuck Schumer got phone calls as did Hillary and the little guy.  What's the congressman's name who believes in UFO's and aliens. All the talk and no one had the balls only proves democrats are even bigger chickenshiz losers than we think.

First of all this is really hard to read. Maybe some day you will learn to write like a grown up. Now let me try to make sense of your ramble.

We waited to make sure we knew it was definitely Osama and that we had all the intel we needed. Like a high stakes stake out or a hunt in the woods. We had to be patient, if we moved too soon we would scare him and he would run under ground. I don't know what book your talking about.

It is up to Libya what they want and what kind of government they should have. You cant deny Gadaffi was a dangerous criminal and killed Americans like on the Pan Am flight and who knows how many more. No one knows what will happen in Libya and to pretend we do is silly. You have to wait and see. I notice a lot of guesses and maybes in your post so at least I give you credit for not pretending to have a crystal ball.

i will slow this down for your benefit obviously you are operating under some form of impairment beyond liberalism....now your boy who would be king went on national tv post osama and stated that there was only a 55% likely that osama was there....i would assert that clearly they knew osama or some very high level aq was there and clearly we have taken out all forms of suspected, only suspected terrorists without waiting to be sure, we just attach the required notice of miranda to the tip of a hellfire missile and let justice be blind....the structure was knew since 2005 and obviously built for concealment....couriers id as osama's personal couriers were the only ones entering and exiting on a regular basis and we had a cia team sitting on the site....further aerial imaging had id a man clearly fitting the physical characteristics of osama walking regularly within the confines.....we went because the wiki leaks docs threatened to spill the beans and one of our cia had been picked up and outed by the pakistanis, and we waited because bo was a. seeking the best political opportunity or b. he did not know what to do when they got him....the ones own rhetoric made putting him on trial an impossibility, do we interrogate, do we mirandize and provide counsel, does the exclusionary rule remove any and all info obtained by subordinates who were interrogated absent counsel or heaven forbid waterboarded....why put a bullet in the head and dump the body at sea or literally the best piece of intel and propaganda we might ever hope to get hold of....why the islamic ritualized funeral per se for a guy that the left claims in not representative of the religion of peace....the long and the short is that the left and this prez have put themselves in the postion of having to kill to avoid questioning/trial.....as for libya you again have missed the point....the world is full of bad men and gaddafi was one of them, although not long ago he was slapping hands with obama and nominated to membership on the un human rights commission....the point my pointless one is that there was not a constitutional argument to be made for this engagement, no clear and present danger and no constitutional authority....even the hated one, that would be bush, went to congress to get an authorization of force to take out saddam, a "dangerous criminal"....if you insist on twisting and turning the law to justify your actions in a given moment the law is in fact meaningless.....back to libya it is not a a mystery what is happening there....we have aided some tribes and some aq to take out the gaddafi tribe, aq now flies it's flag in tripoli, wmd and missiles have gone missing some reported by the Egyptians as being intercepted on their way into gaza....in the final analysis we had a prez wanting to appear tough behave outside of the law, you and the left defend this act because he is your one while some on the supposed right defend this because well gaddafi was a bad man....it remains illegal and representative of how dangerous this govt has become to our constitutional republic....

I didn't ask you to slow it down, I just wanted you to

I guess thats too much to ask

Anyways, these are terrorists we are talking about. Are you saying Osama deserved a Miranda reading? Do you want to protect him under the Constitution and Bill of Rights too? He's not an American citizen and he is the leader of a military force trying to destroy America. I don't know where you are going with this, I am not going to feel sorry for him and I am sure you dont either. I know whatever Obama did you would find it wrong. The biggest issue is that the man responsible for 9/11 is dead and we should all be happy for that. If they had brought him back for a trial you and the rest of the Obama bashers would have flipped your lids. You are also ignoring all the other AQ that both Obama and Bush killed that weren't as high. All without trials.

Libya is still splintered and you can fly an AQ flag anywhere, it doesnt mean they are running the show. I could put a flag up in my front yard it wouldnt mean they run my home town. You must have missed the part where Obama and everyone else explained that Libya was a NATO operation and as part of NATO we participate. It wasn't a war so there was no need to get congress involved. Also congress would have passed it anyway, there wasnt enough objection when things first began to stop it. It was only after when it seemed like we would get stuck  that the complaining started and now that its over there aren't many who are still complaining about it, those are the people that want to nit pick everything Obama does.
