Kill them! Kill them twice!

« on: June 30, 2008, 03:53:01 PM »

why is it that dems/libs always fffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel the need to convince themselves and others that the ffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings they hold and express toward their country are patriotic??  i would think that a man who has been in public life for some time now, BO's patriotism should be well demonstrated!  so let us review.....
evidence of bo's patriotism are as follows...

20 years in the pews nodding his head to rev wright's views of america

professional relationship with mr ayers, aka TERRORIST

refused to vote on senate resolution condemning moveon ad general betrayus....."general petraus deserves the full support of the senate which strongly condemns personal attacks on the honor and integrity of general petraus and all members of the us armed services"   now you can see why he wouldn't want to be part of this for the same reasons he has not been to iraq to see the effects of the surge...

confused as to when it is appropriate to place one's hand over one's heart

described wearing flag pin as "phoney" patriotism.  presently wears the pin at all times public and private

invested in the defeat of the us in iraq and believes that foreign terrorists should be granted the protections and rights of the us constitution

exercises a cafeteria style approach to the constitution

has never spoken against dem/lib characterizations of the us military as stalinist, nazis, murderers......

so why is it that bo believes he must convince the american people that maintains ffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings of patriotism toward his country??

These are all the reasons I will not vote for obama. He is not a partiot or a war hero like John McCain. I don't care whether or not you like McCain, you cannot dispute that. He may have flipped flopped on certain things but not as much as obama has. McCaim 08!!

I won't vote for him because he is a liberal pansy and an empty suit.

If someone hates the US and wants to see GIs get killed in Iraq who am I to question the man's patriotism?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080630/ap_on_el_pr/obama_patriotism_2

"I have found, for the first time, my patriotism challenged — at times as a result of my own carelessness, more often as a result of the desire by some to score political points and raise fears about who I am and what I stand for," he said before a crowd of a few hundred people at the Truman Memorial Building.

That would be 20 years worth of carelessness. Who does this clown think he is kidding? No one questioned your penchant for Black liberation theology because outside of IL. who knew or cared? Things change when you run for POTUS.

Michael Jackson wins huge poker tournament!

And as if it isn't scary enough that he turned from black to white, now he's turning from white to Asian!

The singer says he owes his winnings to little boys everywhere and that he wishes his old friend Mr. Grumpy would return his calls.

Sometime during his run for the presidency I reckon.

Besides what was done in the context of Chicago politics,
Besides gratuitous plastic pins,
Besides his strategy while running for the Democratic nomination,
Besides meaningless Senate "condemnation" resolutions,

Focus on what is relevant now: Iraq and national security. I thought his stand would have taken a more centrist turn by now. He has shifted, but not dramatically.

He should visit the troops sooner rather than later. He may do a surprise visit, but it would be better for him to announce it and play it up.

It was strange that he gave a speech about his own patriotism. Nobody is going to beat McCain on patriotism. Why would he want to draw attention to this?
