As I stated in previous post that this thing is a Movement. It is not just about Obama. It is about all of us workig together for something different in America. With this momemtum we may now win in Texas and challenge in Ohio. Keep in mind, Ohio is very similiar to Missouri where Barack won. Also note that the negative mud slinging really don't work because it reminds voters of the past.
Obama 08....Pass It On!!
Do the Democratic Party Primaries really matter? Do you think that the American public will trust Mrs. Slick Willy? Obama has been a senator for how long? Obama could have been something special, but he picked the wrong time to run. He needed more dirt under his shoes. McCain has the experience and the military service record that scream out leadership. Clinton is a travesty. What a zealot! Can't wait until shes done. Democrats haven't put anyone up since Kennedy that could match up with the Republicans. Who do you really think will be in the White House come November?

starting to think that little mac could give obama quite a competitive race. unlike mrs bill the experience argument carries some weight coming from him. if iraq continues to improve....
I listened to all of the speeches last night, and Mcain looks and sounds, long in the tooth. Same old blah blah and pessimism. I don't believe thats what the country needs right now.

I believe that mccain will be there as he well should. but b clinton gave the reps. a run for their money. thats why they hate him so much. i doubt if i will ever again vote democrat. thay should change their name as imo the democratic party exists no longer, not the one i knew anyway.

Who do you really think will be in the White House come November? you can make a very convincing arguement that the only reason bill clinton won the presidency was because of ross perot splitting the republican vote (just like nader split the democrat vote in gore v. dubya)...can you imagine how this country would have turned out with non-stop republican presidential leadership from reagan until now? yikes, not a pleasant thought

I try my best to be polite 'round here, but Matrix my friend, you are full of shit. This movement of yours is ONLY about Obama. Real change, for better or worse, existed in the movements of Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, & Ron Paul. They are all effectively out of the race, with only Paul left to try to bring enough delegates to the table to affect (in a minor way) the policy debate within the GOP.
Obama hasn't said anything of substance at all. Just eloquent & inspiring ramblings about the audacity of hope, looking forward, embracing change, cleaning up Washington, and lots of other warm-fuzzy bumper-stickers - and you and the entire American public bought his BS hook, line, & sinker.
Prove me wrong. Explain to me why you support his health-care package over Gravel's plan, or his foreign policy over Kucinich's, or his monetary policy over Paul's. Explain why his economic stimulus stance is superior to Bush's. Explain, if you don't like policy specifics in a comparative format, the actual mechanism by which Obama's overall political philosophy (or hell, just explain his political philosophy) will bring about this meaningful change.
If that's too weighty a task, just explain what this wondrous vision of his will actually LOOK like. Of course, I suspect we'll all find out soon enough - just wondering if your lofty hopes will be dashed when he actually takes office and serves his first term.
The calm before the storm.... Obama 08....Pass It On!

i kinda side with matrix on this, only in that he appears less than comfortable in aggressive one on one confrontations. she will come at him directly this time. she will attack experience and will allege that the plagiarism is an indication of character...she will raise issue with his reported waffle on public financing in the general election...hell she may even cry and this time the tears will be real as she sees it all slipping away...

Hillary is more detail oriented then Obama and has a nasty side that can get under Obama's skin. Also, from my understanding she was a member of a debate team in college where she excelled. Obama tries to take the high road but Hillary can drag him down into the mud if he is not careful. I think she will pull out every trick in the book on him at the Thursday night debates. She is desperate and he got her backed up into a corner. So you do the math..... Obama 08.....Pass It On!

Saw this on a lefty blog and thought it was funny. You probably heard how hillary's campaign was trying to spin Obama's victory's as not important .. so here's how they are spinning last night's losses.
10. It's Cold/Hot There. How can you have a fair election when it's 4° outside? Or 75°?
9. Caucuses And Primaries Are Poor Measures of Preference. Neither a caucus (like Hawaii) nor a primary (like Wisconsin) really tells you who voters favor. You need a system with both caucuses and primaries. Like Texas (Warning: This is a limited-time rationalization. This argument may no longer be valid on March 5).
8. Neither Wisconsin Nor Hawaii Are Really BIG States. You know. Like New York. And California.
7. "Delegate Counts" and "Popular Votes" Are Obsolete Microtrends. Unfortunately, we can no longer afford to pay Mark Penn to tell us what the small forces behind tomorrow's big changes will be.
6. Jesse Jackson, Though He Didn't Win Wisconsin or Hawaii, Polled Fairly Well in Both. In addition to the obvious significance of this fact, the fact that every single primary season someone won both these states suggests that Obama's victory is a form of plagiarism.
5. Wisconsin Lets Independents Vote. And only the votes of Democrats count. Especially in November.
4. There's Something Fundamentally Unfair About the Delegate Selection Rules in Both States. We'll tell you what it is as soon as we figure out the delegate selection rules in both states.
3. K?ne'ohe? La Crosse? Those don't sound very American to me! Let's face it. Wisconsin and Hawa'ii just aren't very typically American. You know...like New Hampshire, New York, and California.
2. Superdelegates can vote for anyone they want to. And, hey, so can "pledged" delegates!
And the #1 Reason that Wisconsin and Hawaii Don't Count...
VOTING IS JUST WORDS!

Hahahahahaha great top 10.
Welcome Trex!
I don't know if I'm going to watch the debate. It's the nineteenth debate between these two, and they have nothing new to discuss. I agree Hillary usually does better - she's quicker, more specific, and more aggressive. Unless she freaks out with the cackle.
Obama's getting attacked from both sides now ... Hillary and McCain. If he can make it through this, he'll do fine in the general election. He's vulnerable on experience, but McCain is vulnerable on his record, his age, and his character.
