Egalitarianism is simply absurd

It looks bad...so does my judgement re this primary. I thought she has this nailed tight. Either way the Dems are offering us nothing but "Bush sucks" and class warfare but I honestly thought she'd cream Obama.

Guys

If you are going to get on this forum and pretend to be a new person or some one else at least be a little more creative! Respect is gained when you stand up for your self and your position and not when you hide in the shadows of cowardness!

is it really that hard to believe that other people see through you too? many of the usual posters on here have told you as much...perhaps you should look at yourself before you blame others

It's now 0-11, since Obama won 65% of the "Democrats Abroad" primary. This is so wonderful. Obama vs. McCain, I don't even care who wins -- at least it isn't Hillary.

As a matter of character and principle, yes. I disagree with him on many things ideologically. However, every word, vote, speech, and movement that he makes is not calculated according to how it will affect his legacy. I may be in the minority among liberals, but I am so sick of how the Clinton family cares about nothing more than their own name. That is why they are so angry; they expect us to roll out the red carpet for them.

Her campaign has been too insulting over the years. Her comments that community organizing isn't political experience (I'm a community organizer). Her comments that we're all being fooled by his rhetorical. Her comments that she could've stayed home in the kitchen and baked cookies is insulting to every mother who took pride in being a Housewife (such as my mother). So she has burned too many bridges for me.

Plus, the Presidency is not as much about issues and ideology as most voters believe. It's about experience, education, personality, principles, and character. Issues matter for more legislative seats than executive seats.

And while I believe government is much more noble than private enterprise (profit margins vs. of the people, for the people), her health care plan is hogwash (this I know Grump will agree with me on!). To mandate coverage is anti-American. We need an re-vamping of our health care system, but don't mandate coverage -- it will simply make the entire system crap.

There is a phrase "those who protest the loudest are usually the ones who have something to hide".
Now why would I have know you would be the first to protest?!

Your protest speaks volumes!

I know Grumpy, SDML and Mr D had nothing to do with my claim because they seem to be straight shooters. They don't speak out both sides of their mouth and mumble under their breath
like those who want to hide in the darkness. Now will I address SDML?......Oh yeah you can count on it!....So don't worry the storm is coming!

We've got a civil war in the OBAMANATION going on here between Conley and Matrix.  Grin

Plus, the Presidency is not as much about issues and ideology as most voters believe.
The president doesn't have as large an influence over issues as the campaigns suggest, but ideology is a factor - the president leads his party and influences the legislators of his party, doesn't he?

It's about experience, education, personality, principles, and character. Issues matter for more legislative seats than executive seats.
Experience is only relevant in how it shapes the President's principles. Education not at all.

How is mandating healthcare coverage un-American, but mandating Social Security is not? Mandating basic emergency and public health services makes sense to me, while keeping the rest of the medical field private.
