Indeed, there are many opinions we are not allowed to express in the US without fear of retribution. After reading this article in Salon I am left wondering if our brave author would consider some of the views expressed here regarding Black intelligence acceptable? They are far more common than he would like to believe and far greater than any poll would indicate. That said, is it Jewish money or a real concern for treating your allies properly that motivates our politicians? What motivates their condemnations of "anti-Israeli views"?

More reflections to come...

Getting and staying elected motivates our politicians.

"That said, is it Jewish money or a real concern for treating your allies properly that motivates our politicians?"

I made this statement with regard to allegations of anti-Semitism or anti-Israel sentiment.

It would be political suicide for an American politician to be labeled an anti-semite.

how about spending some foreign aid at home?
how about spending some foreign aid at home?

The policies of our federal government should be implemented with America's interests in mind first. We should cut foreign aid and the military budget and use that money at home.

say why don't you two fruits go find a basket

You strike me as the kind of guy who responds only with stupid comments like that and not detailed answers. Am I about right in my assumption?

davey, here is a detailed response.  you and your girl friend are a couple of dumb asses.  go back to hanging out at code pink rallies.

Like I said, if every Jew died tomorrow Palestinians would still be backward savages intent on killing each other all the more because there are no more Jews to blame their problems on. Granted, I can understand their anger about Jews bringing unholy things like education and jobs to the desert. I can also understand that they are a little ticked off about a handful of Whites coming along and creating a prosperous nation where Arabs have failed for centuries.

You don't believe the Palestinians have ANY legitimate grievances whatsoever?

Sure they do. Ultimately, however, Arab failure has nothing to do with Israel. I went over the top in making my point, no doubt.

I've gotta agree with you on that point.  I also agree that the leaders of many Arab states exploit the Palestinian issue in order to direct attention/anger away from themselves.
