Mr Grumpy, you are probably right about FISA and campaign finance. But on Iraq, Obama has said for some time that the pace of withdrawal would be gradual and subject to adjustment.

I will drastically reduce our presence there to the mission of protecting our embassy, protecting our civilians and making sure that we're carrying out counterterrorism activities there. do you bother to reflect upon your posts at all.  your illustrating that early in the campaign, bo could not and would not state with any certainty that the us would be out of iraq before 2013.  next you post his commitment to leaving within roughly 16 months.  neither statement speaks of stability, in fact he said that he considered the possibility of genocide in proposing 1-2 brigades/16 months.  now and only now is there a caveat of stability.  until very recently, bo has refused to recognize the success of the surge and still does so grudgingly.  with the dems/libs in their entirety bo has previously embraced a strategy that guarantees instability, defeat for the us in the region and the emergence of an iranian sphere of influence from tehran to lebanon.  he could be his own game show...will the real bo please stand up!

bo had no problem ensuring the kook left that he would leave iraq at a pace of 1-2 brigades per month and his only concern was to avoid getting shot in the back while running.  we are winning in iraq, all evidence supports this and the polls are beginning to reflect the american people's becoming aware of this media hidden reality.  further the american people never really embraced defeat and will embrace victory as it presents itself.  regardless this is just another issue that serves to illustrate that bo has no core beliefs beyond saying whatever is required to get elected.  personally, i believe that if elected he will morph back into the uber lib that he has been for all of his public life.

The folks that should be upset about Barack moving to the center are the folks that voted for him in the primary before he got his centrist views.   Are you one of those people?   Then why do you care, you were not going to vote for Barack anyways.
