All major party candidates of whichever party, are puppets of the establishment.

Well Peter,
I don't know if I'd call it an Obama-gasm, I'd say it was one writer's
attempt at trying to explain, Mr. Obama's apparent rock star status.
I would like to point out that he IS a LEO --lol. Seriously, I'd say the piece is
a keen perception of the current political landscape, and attempts to show that
the negative lighting rod Bush and his party held, is working in reverse here.
People of intelligence and common sense are galvanizing throughout the nation
to a new positively charged lightning rod. Lets face it, Bush is a dummy and Cheney
sits around plotting evil. Cheney has stated himself, his job was to think, the unthinkable.
If you know anything of the laws of the universe, then you know, positive attracts
positive and negative attracts negative. It seems the good + people are drawn and motivated
to exorcise, the negative and inherently evil force which currently reside in the halls of power.
We as Americans, do not want to be evil, and must leave the darkside behind.
This is why, we see this kind of mass hysteria. Americans recognize and are going to seize
the opportunity to effect change and put this nation back on the high road we should never
 have left.

I am an Obama supporter-I will vote for him in November just as I did in the Alabama primary back on Super Tuesday. Having said that, I see it more as right policy versus wrong policy than as good versus evil. Bush is wrong headed, IMHO, not evil. I agree with Obama but he is not a saint.

Bush is not running for a third term dispite what you might believe. McCain is the Republican nominee and not Bush, McCain is nothing like Bush. I vote for McCain over Obama any day.
Pitty Pat, were you a Hillary supporter? At 71, we should looking at the veep. Can you imagine a Dan Quayle presidency? Eisenhower warned 50 years ago of the growing power of the military industrial complex. What do you think he meant by that? Bush has been their poster boy, the Republicans have found a new one. His name is McCain. How many election cycles are we to go through, where we end up with a president, the general populace didn't ask for? Obama's spirit trancesends race and color. He is also beholden to none other than the American people.
It really is time for change. Its funny, just about every thing said about Obama, could have been said about John F Kennedy in 1959.
Except Kennedy came from a family rich in political tradition.  Obama comes from the Chicago political machine and has thrown people under the bus to get where he is today.

Kennedy came from a family of bootleggers and stock market crooks.
