Kill them! Kill them twice!

I don't believe that either is qualified to be president. but hillery at least has some experience, obama has the gift of gab. Anyway I am not voting for either and don't believe they have a chance against mcCain. If it were between hillery or obama then i would choose hillery, the least of the evils. No way would I ever vote for obama, i'd just not vote. That is my right.  Smiley

she has no experience.  if in fact there was something in the record to support that claim during her years as first lady don't you think she would be showing it??  this is why she is struggling, these are the same products, his is just better presented.

Grump, its obvious that you just don't like women. Thats the main thing you have against her. Yes she has experience. What on earth would the media have to talk about and run down if not for the clintons? They have made many like Dick Morris etc. rich. Nothing wrong with hillery except too liberal. I can answer that!  Senator Clinton worked many years in Arkansas on issues concerning children, women and   so many people left behind by policies that make the rich richer and the working poor, working harder and poorer still.  Her time as First Lady was spent fighting the attack machine of the wealhty and politically entrenched, valiantly striving to bring health care to every American. Senator Clinton also served as a valuable asset to the President and the American people, traveling throughout the world and being an emissary of friendship and goodwill.  Often times these travels involved great personal risk.  I will probably vote for Barak Obama but know that Senator Clinton would make a great President.  The Democratic party and the American people have two great choices for which to vote!

Hillary can be an advisor in Obama's administration. Smiley
I agree with Jonathan Chait of the New Republic on this:

"...Well, it's certainly true that Obama can't match Hillary Clinton's grasp of policy detail. Clinton is a true policy wonk. I also happen to think this doesn't matter -- as president, you need to be intelligent and know a lot about policy, but there's a point above which the principle of diminishing returns applies. Obama has a perfectly well detailed platform. He knows enough about policy to have intelligent debates with his advisors. Clinton knows enough about policy to be a policy advisor, but I don't think that level of detailed knowledge is necessary.
[...]
McCain is like Obama in that he's appealed to voters largely on the basis of broad themes and his personal charisma and history. The difference is that Obama is a former law professor who's actually done his homework on the policy, and McCain is still winging it."

where does this meritless assertion come from.  i have asked this question repeatedly and no one (discounting the asinine contributions ud) has any answer.  hillary is now a policy expert?  once in govt you immediately become an expert on something and if you hang around long enough you can say your an expert on everything?  l what supports this claim?  hey vermouth, i'm a brain surgeon well because i said i am and i want to help you with your cognitive deficiency.

I'm going to have to agree with Grump on this one. She doesn't have any experience, even when compared to Obama (and when compared to McCain -- this election will come down to experience vs. change).
You can count her First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady experience of, what, 18-20 total years -- but that's the equivalent of thinking that Queen Elizabeth is a policy expert. Being First Lady does not make you qualifed to be President. While she was being a figurehead for the Clinton Administration, Obama was organizing in Chicago...now that may be "small" but as a fellow organizer, at least it is actual hands-on work.
I've personally talked to thousands of people as an organizer, so when she "dismisses" that experience, she is pretty much crapping on how Democrats run campaigns. We do grassroots work, and there are thousands of us who are the equivalent of the foot soldiers of politics.
Maybe he is sexist, but the thing is this: The only people I hear crying the "sexist" charge are other women who are supporting Clinton for no other reason than she's a woman -- which is shallow, sexist, and downright insulting.

In total, she has 2 years more elected experience in the Senate than Obama...and when you include his work in the Statehouse of Illinois, he has more experience total.

As far as debating goes, Democrats have debated 18 times already. We know their positions. We know their personalities. She just wants more free face time, and she thinks she can hurt him in a televised debate. There is no actual substantive reason for them to debate more....the last 3-4 times they've debated have been uber-repetitive anyway (if you've watched any of the others). If you haven't watched the others, then you aren't going to make an informed decision by just watching one debate anyway.

no darkhorse we do not agree.  neither of these two candidates are qualified.  no, being a community organizer and talking to people is no more relevant than working at the ymca.

Not only does Obama have more legislative experience than Clinton (US Senate and Illinois State Senate), he was elected on his own merits. Clinton was elected to the Senate based on name recognition and that "figurehead" experience.

Wow someone finally said it.  If Hillary wasn't married to Bill do u think she would be where she is today? Is Conde married?  Hillary would be nowhere if not for the presidential fornicator.

I am leery of these extreme hillery haters.  Sad  Do you fear all women or just the strong opinionated ones?
