Planting the hecklers in his Fl. townhall meeting was a good move. Most of are smart enough to see through it. Sometimes we can pull off reverse psychology, but this was way too obvious.  Roll Eyes

If you believe Obama planted the hecklers, then I have this wonderful oceanfront property for you in Idaho?  Interested?    Grin

I don't care what he does or says I am not voting for him. I just see through his low tactics as hopefully many others do. The more he rants on about his race the more he comes across as a racist. I have I friend(old hippie) who was all for obama, now he has second thoughts. He lives in houston and always has been a yellow dawg democrat.

actually i don't think bo is slick at all.  he stumbled out of the primaries and has been well short of impressive since.  the euro trip was a bad idea and not visiting wounded soldiers is ridiculously stupid.  he is making this a close race.

Pitty, you are examining his astrological profile.  Do you know you are obsessed?

I am spunk. I'm really into astrology. LOL! I have been nursing my grandaughter and her friend. His parents live in NC so he can't travel. I take them to the trauma center etc. Neurologist says one bad move and he could be a quad or dead. Its stressful. As you know, I will always be for mcCain but if obama is elected will except it with no malace towards him.  Smiley

about the obama part: LOL, pitty I never cared who you vote for.  I just hope you vote and you take pride in it.

About your family: once again I am sorry to hear about all this.  I hope things get better very soon for everybody.

I've got to disagree with you on the Euro trip being a bad idea.  It was a quick and effective way to dispel the McCain campaign's assertion that he doesn't have what it takes to be a leader on the world stage.  As far as I've seen, since then, even McCain has lightened up on beating that tired old drum.  Also, what would you have had him do?  Spit in the face of the Pentagon and visit those troops anyway?

I'm personally of the belief that McCain would have a clear advantage by now had Obama not responded to McCain's criticisms by embarking on his trip to the Middle East and Europe.

duh ... Revenue at news organization depends on the race being viewed as tight. These national polls are really meaningless. What really matters are the polls in individual states.

There's a couple of websites that look at the polls of individual states and does the electoral vote math ... with is the only thing that really matters:

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/
http://www.electoral-vote.com/

Both websites have Obama with 300+ electoral votes with mcsame just over 200.

i would have him visit the troops absent fan fare and with humility.  as for the euro trip.  standing in front of 200,000 germans and apologizing for this county's lack of perfection does not play well in rural america, middle america, working america.  it plays well to the left, dems/libs, hollywood etc.....but those are not the undecideds he needs to court.

...hollywood, greenpeace, Barbara Streisand, Duncan Hines Brownies (mostly the chewy ones, not the chocolate chip), turtles, peacocks, Bigfoot, Toby Keith and the lost city of Atlantis.  They're all in on it.
