The media is only a reflection of the people who watch it.  If people don't like it, they are going to turn it off.  The media KNOWS what people want.  People want Obama.

I got pissed when the media fawned over Bush, too.  But then I realized why they did it--because people wanted Bush.  Just because I thought Bush was a schmuck back then (and still do) doesn't mean the media wasn't being fair in reporting what I WANTED TO HEAR.

The media certainly does not HELP biasness, but it does not cause it either.

There is a very blurry line between those two things, which I think you know.  It is entertainment, and it is journalism.  People need to be entertained by the news or else they won't watch it.

If the media were being unfair, they would be reporting many tasteless and damaging stories about McCain while applauding Obama.

I think, more over, people are being unfair--and on both sides of politics, too.

Conservatives are in the minority when it comes to network news. How you can deny this is beyond me.
