The media tells people what they want to hear--for the most part.

And I am glad the media is more left nowadays.  If it were more right, it would be illegal to miss the news.

Conservatives are in the minority when it comes to network news. How you can deny this is beyond me.

I don't deny it.  But what they lack in numbers, they make up for in lies and smearing.  So it looks fair to me.

If ya'll think the media is going easy on Obama ....

Look at how the media portrayed him on the Rev. Wright controversy, bitter-gate, flag-pin-gate, pledge-of-allegience-gate, madrasa-gate and I'm sure I've missed a few.

Can you imagine what the news media would do to Obama if he fucked up geography as often as McSame does?

They constantly talk about how McSames's the "Straight-talk-express" who will tell you the truth and not flip-flop his position depending on which crowd he's talking to.

If Obama was as confused as McSame has been these last few months, Obama would have been destroyed with endless loop broadcasts of every confused statement.

he is a marketing master and a brilliant businessman no doubt. i respect him like i respect rove, they are very good at what they do.

Gaunt, I think that those examples of the media doing their job regarding Obama occurred before Hillary dropped out.  I think that the media was conflicted between the two and would have supported either as the nominee.

if you are hoping nbc news, fox news, and all the rest "do the right thing" then you truly are a dinosaur. of course you only object when the 'liberal media' does it but fox news is no better. media is changing and newspapers are falling by the wayside. it's all online and these companies need to make a buck or else they will die, just like the dinos. free market.

i know you are new here, but we try to always be polite with each other. cursing of any kind and insults are usually met with a quick ban. grumpy is normally a very sweet guy who only has positive things to say...i believe there may have been a change in his medication lately which is making him act a bit surly.

anyhow, i know myself and the other posters would appreciate it if you two bury the hatchet so that we can go back to our happy, peace loving ways. thanks!!!
