I don’t think that the media is a microcosm of their clientele. I think they are far left (while the majority of Americans are floating to the left and right of center) and they see Obama as the messiah.

people who listen to limbaugh don't make up their own minds. he makes it up for them. he even flaunts it -- calls them 'dittoheads'
That isn't what "dittohead" means. It is a way of cutting short the compliments of callers before they get to the point.
