Thanks to the lunatics (and BIGTEX means they are CERTIFIABLY INSANE) on the California Supreme Court, the Barack Obama candidacy died today.

The lunatic judges who voted in the majority have declared marriage between queers legal, thus defying the will of the overwhelming majority of Americans, including the majority of the population of the State of California.

Thanks for reminding us how truly nutty liberofascists are.

Thanks for assuring B. Hussein Obama will not be elected President of the United States.

big tex has a point.  this is a made for little mac issue.  most of this nation is not down per se with gay marriage as witnessed by the actions of numerous state legislatures.  the courts are unwilling to leave this issue to the voters/people and this will be little mac's argument for rep control of scotus or maybe support of a constitutional amendment re marriage.  either way bo will be on the wrong side of this issue.

secondly, Pigsex calls the republicans who decided to strike down the gay marriage ban "lunatics" and "insane", then when the error is pointed out to him suggests that this is part of some grand republican strategy. can't have it both ways...

i would guess most of the nation really doesnt care two whits about gay marriage or who is doing what to whom behind closed doors. the ashcroft crowd does but they are being shoved aside by more reasonable members of the GOP

  bo is on record of supporting civil unions but not gay marriage.  it won't matter, little mac has the opportunity to pin him to supporting a constitutional amendment while knowing that the reality of such an amendment is non-existent.  it helps him with his conservative base and allows him to illustrate the liberal that bo is.  it is no rep conspiracy just judicial activism and judges do not live in a vacuum.  they are subject to the pressures and culture of their surroundings.  no most of the nation does not give two whits unless the issue is brought before them and in that instance most of the nation is not down with gay marriage or excepting of the normalcy of homosexuality in general.  the reps are losing elections because they have abandoned conservative principle, not the other way around.  in short your analysis is ass backwards......as usual.

I thought the people of california voted against gay marriage. Seems their votes didnt matter. 61% of the voters in calf had rejected gay marriage.  this is a made to order little mac issue if he knows how to use it!  comm lee in politics perception is most definitely reality, this is an issue that is easily presented as a need for a conservative judiciary.

I'm not at all amazed that Tex's biases extend beyond race, but his bigotry blinds him to the fact that McCain will lose to Obama.

well i guess if mccain flip flops AGAIN he can get some mileage out of it:

ok americans are against gay marriage but i really dont think its a high priority. maybe you have data on where this ranks wrt peoples concerns about iraq, the economy, education, health care, national defense / security, etc. it just doesnt seem that important in the grand scheme of things.

I went to Sally's (a beauty supply store} last night and they were all cheering about the california deal. Needless to say I gave them my opinion. My daughter was embarrased but I could not hold it back. Those  dirty, filthy judges should be strangeled with their stinking black robes . Thats the garbage I am speaking of when I say liberal garbage. That goes for liberal republicans as well.
