Cindy McCain sells Sudan-related investments

WASHINGTON -- Cindy McCain, whose husband has been a critic of the violence in Sudan, sold off more than $2 million in mutual funds whose holdings include companies that do business in the African nation.

The sale on Wednesday came after The Associated Press questioned the investments in light of calls by John McCain, the likely Republican presidential nominee, for international financial sanctions against the Sudanese leadership.

McCain, who was campaigning in Ohio, said neither he nor his wife were aware of the Sudan-related holdings.

Now ... using the same logic republicans use against Obama .. Sudan is a country that harbours terrorists, the McCain's supported Sudan (until someone pointed it out), so therefore the McCains are terrorist loving traitors.

the mccains (cindy in particular) have so much money it actually wouldnt surprise me if they had a couple million lying around supporting warlords that they knew nothing about. shoot, cindy could probably find about that much in the sofa cushions on her private jet (the one that mccain uses to campagin with)

I would have to agree.  She probably has very little clue where all of her money is invested.  And she is as cute as a button- so I give her a PASS.
