It looks great! I'll rent it when it comes out on video. John and Abigail were remarkable human beings.
According to the best of my knowledge, the relationship between the two is being portrayed brilliantly. Definitely worth a watch!
The PBS documentary "Liberty! The American Revolution" was really good too. It was a mix of commentary and reenactments, although I'm sure the production level pales in comparison to HBO.
I've not seen this.
I did, however, see the History Channel documentary on the Revolution, which is quite good.
I am absolutely fascinated by American history, 1770-1800.
