instead of whining, why don't you try cutting back on the personal insults, say something intelligent, and see if you can get a good discussion going?

This goes to show anybody with a brain, "REAL" Americans only support their troops when the troops are proud of their duties.

Spunkster, Spunkrocker, Spunkontrollable.........  Have you ever had to take an otherwise-acceptable person to court, deny them of an income, and run their ass back to the civilian world because of an honest, but unforgivable fuck-up?  I have.  People whom I truly liked.  People who would probably be given a second chance in the civilian sector.  The standards are disconcertingly high in the military, for good reason.
     This punk wouldn't have merited a second look.  Boom.  Done.

The "military world" would probably be a breath of fresh air to you.  The UCMJ doesn't take the ACLU into consideration.  Judges?  Normally, a committee of people who know the UCMJ inside and out AND know the situation decide the best course of action.  You can't just single out a person for a crime and not back it up with proof and writ.
     That you are scared of the military is disturbing.  It is an exclusive club, and it leads the world in technological matters, but you've read too many Stephen King novels.
