You should read what you just posted and then tell me how hardworking liberals resent non-working liberals.  Again, I always thought that was a conservative view.

And tell my how conservatives want me to succeed.  Every time I meet one, they call me lazy, ignorant, godless and selfish--before they even get to know me.

Then you are meeting the wrong people. Most of my friends are conservative democrats and are nothing likle what you describe.

Conservative democrats are todays republicans. John McCain is a conservative democrat. We have two parties, the liberals and the conservative democrats. Republicans no longer exist except in name only.

I also said sexism, gay rights etc. But I have always fought my own battles. My generation blazed the trails for the rights women enjoy today. WE did it on our own and WE prevailed. When I joined the police department I was ridiculed but stood my ground without whining to any organization or person. It made me strong. No person can put me down unless I allow it. I believe in taking responsibilty for myself and no handouts from a liberal democratic government, thank-you very much. Government handouts make people weak and dependant on them. Thats what a liberal government does, keep people down. This contributes to all sorts of racism, sexism etc.

I have a similar type story from my college football playing days, as a cracker playing on a team made up mostly of black guys. I had to earn their respect.
I thought the names they called me were funny as hell. 
My friends did not think like Obama, Jesse nor Al, that's for sure.

Me too.  They stopped after a took all thier money playing dominoes and spades!  College was fun!
