"TEN years ago John McCain had to apologize for regaling a Republican audience with a crude sexual joke about Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and Janet Reno. Last year he had to explain why he didn’t so much as flinch when a supporter asked him on camera, “How do we beat the bitch?” But these days Mr. McCain just loves the women."

In his televised address on Barack Obama’s victory night of June 3, he dismissed Mr. Obama in a single patronizing line but devoted four fulsome sentences to praising Mrs. Clinton for “inspiring millions of women.” The McCain Web site is showcasing a new blogger who crooned of the “genuine affection” for Mrs. Clinton “here at McCain HQ” after she lost. One of the few visible women in the McCain campaign hierarchy, Carly Fiorina, has declared herself “enormously proud” of Mrs. Clinton and is barnstorming to win over Democratic women to her guy’s cause.

How heartwarming. You’d never guess that Mr. McCain is a fierce foe of abortion rights or that he voted to terminate the federal family-planning program that provides breast-cancer screenings. You’d never know that his new campaign blogger, recruited from The Weekly Standard, had shown his genuine affection for Mrs. Clinton earlier this year by portraying her as a liar and whiner and by piling on with a locker-room jeer after she’d been called a monster. “Tell us something we don’t know,” he wrote.

Doesn't make a lot of sense why Hillary supporters would go to McCain after he's been so disrespectful. Obama won a fair campaign and didn't make fun anyone's looks.

next line...i guess women do recognize the double talk:

"New polls show Mr. Obama opening up a huge lead among female voters — beating Mr. McCain by 13 percentage points in the Gallup and Rasmussen polls and by 19 points in the latest Wall Street Journal-NBC News survey."

Polls have shown that most women who support mccain don't really know his record against women's rights issues. When they are fully informed, a large percentage of them will switch to Obama ... the stepford wives and the racists won't ... but that's OK.

I am aware of his record. Obama has no record. He went to a hatefilled church for 20 years and did not leave untill it was to his political benefit.  If elected he will do nothing, we will be no better off. I'll stick with McCain thank-you very much.  Smiley

Then you stick with hypocrisy and bullshit.

About his "hate filled" sermons at church...not true.

About not having a record...not true.

Everything you say about Obama...NOT TRUE.

McCain hates women, and you are voting for him--just to vote for him.  You don't even CARE what his issues are, or Obama's anymore--you just want one to win and the other to lose.  So why bother talking about them?

paternity tests have proven that janet reno is in fact the father of chelsea clinton and no one debates that mrs bill is a whining, lying, bitch!  as for being a foe of abortion is it not likely that half of the aborted would be women??

The question still remains who has the ability to actually get something done?

In order to do a job correctly it requires experience...notice Obama has none...he is capitializing on a downturn that was inevitable no matter who was in office.

Who will be our commander in chief...someonme who knows nothing of the military?
Or someone who has extensive experience in the workings of the military?

That aside, economy aside, Bush hating aside, in a vacuum with no outside interference who is the better candidate?

MALE BOVINE EXCRETEMENT

I have worked in the IT field for 28 years. In my years as a programmer, I constantly ran into folks who had been a programmer longer than I and on many occasions I was asked to fix their f****ed up code. I was given the complex projects to do because they knew I could do it even though they had other folks with more EXPERIENCE and were making more money than I.

Obama has demostrated the skills necessary to be president. He beat the much vaunted Clinton and DNC political machine. He successfully managed a huge campaign organization and raised more money than any human in history for his campaign ... (and just wait to see the huge amount of money he'll have for the general election).

And he will beat the pityful campaign organization of McSame's.

apples and oranges dumb ass.  a fruit of your magnitude should know the difference.  at best you make the argument that bo is a good politician.  bo is in reality a well managed empty suit.  when not speaking off a prepared text he is average at best.  stumbling and stuttering, every time he opens his mouth on matters of national security he places at least one of his feet in it.  the change he speaks of is the same old same old dem/lib big govt, social engineering tripe with a healthy topping of eurosocialist disarmament/appeasement.

Thats not really saying much at at. He defeated a candidate who claims she was a partner in her husbands presidency and describe her run as inevitable.  She actually does have MORE experience than Obama. I think some would actually felt more comfort with her as the nominee.

Raise all the money you want....money is no substitute for experience.

Seriously, he hasn't even served a full term as a senator.  And all his senior colleagues should be pissed off that he jumped to the front of the line.   What does that say about what the demoscratic party really has to offer?
