Well I started a venture into political philosophy today. I have a book on conservative thought with a good collection of essays. I took a course at Rutgers called
Ideologies of the Right and this was one of the texts assigned. I read parts but I don't recall as much as I'd like to. There was one essay by Michael Oakshott that made an impression on me. It is entitled
Rationalism In Politics I started it again today. I will probably finsih it in a couple days. I'm not used to philosophy of any kind and the going is slow. Ok the Yuengling Porter doesn't help...

There is a part of my being that is beginning to reject reason and I'd like to get to the point in my intellectual life where I can honestly say that I am not a slave to it. I don't want to be so limited.
