Let me add that not only is this all at the instigation of "gay rights" activists but it's all a sham as well. This is about social acceptance, not marriage.

I disagree.  Two of my gay friends want to get married so that they can receive the same rights as my wife and I.    Homosexuality is already accepted in this country, if it was not, "I kissed a girl" would not be charging up the charts.   My point is that "pop-culture" dictates acceptance in this country.

I don't doubt that you have two gay friends that want to get married for the reasons you say. In any event, it is no secret that a highly promiscuous population of gay males has little to no interest in marriage. Really, this should be no surprise. You may have a point about lesbians, however, and they seem to be much more sincere in their endeavors.

The "rights" in question are not rights but incentives to raise a family. Gays insist on calling them "rights" to make their cause more sympathetic. No one is falling for it. Indeed, our Black brothers get quite upset when gays take up the banner of civil rights.

What rights exactly? You can get most rights with a civil union or by forking over the requisite legal fees.

That's interesting. I hadn't thought of marriage as an incentive to raise a family in today's world. Is the stigma of illegitimacy stopping anyone from procreating? The ease with which the government allows marriage and divorce doesn't promote a stable environment for raising kids.

Our government, indeed all Western governments, is not promoting policies to replace their populations.

were the chicks even moderately hot??  what if the gals had been billy jean king and martina navratilova??  in short hot or even reasonably hot lesbians don't count.  besides it is a well known fact that all gals are just 2-3 drinks away from a little gal on gal.  as to societal acceptance, there is a difference in believing that consenting adults have the right to do what they want within the confines of their own home and believing that homosexuality is normal and should be projected in society as such.  if the majority of the country actually believed that homosexuality was in fact normal, this would not be a contest within the courts.  finally, prohibiting homos from marrying is in no way discriminatory.  you can't marry a dude and neither can conley.  vermouth can't marry a gal and neither can pitty.

They already have the same rights as you and your wife.

Niggers 'sing' about killing cops, that doesn't mean it's acceptable.

I agree, I think pop-culture (music/TV in particular) dictates everything. From love to fashion to politics, etc. It targets the younger generation and engrave a certain thought pattern over time. Often, but not always, by creating an in-group/out-group society.
