What are your thoughts on a possible Russ Feingold candidacy in 2012, if McCain wins this year?

In my opinion, Feingold is the only true representative of the progressive movement in the Senate, besides Ted Kennedy.

I don't know much about him.

As McCain is finding out, having a long Senate record is not a good thing when it comes to running for president.

What exactly is the progressive movement?

I still don't get the difference between progressives and liberals.

Progressives are a subset of liberals and have very little in common with Theodore Roosevelt.

I respect Russ Feingold because he had the guts to stand up against Republicans and wayward Democrats in the Senate and vote against the War in Iraq and the USA PATRIOT Act. I would consider throwing my support behind him if he decided to run in 2012 or 2016.
