comm lee, death comes to us all. the best that we might hope for is that it comes to us in our time, that we have the wisdom to recognize it, the strength to accept it and the dignity to smile. i apologize because i do understand how people connect to personalities that have come into their homes on a daily basis. i guess that i just accept death as a reality to life and don't necessarily see it as a cause for grief or consternation. breath deep.

yeah...i just liked him, he was one of the few interview shows i watched. i like the daily show for example, but i think jon stewart is a crappy interviewer because he's either ridiculously tough on people (rare) or brown nosing. Russert was a rare combo of tough, classy, honest and seemed a genuinely good guy. i do know death comes to us all and i would be lying if things like this didnt make me sad on a selfish level as well because it was so sudden and he was relatively young. i prefer living day to day and dont like the thought that i or my loved ones could be snuffed out like a match, even though that is the reality. a lot of my sadness is also b/c of his family...he just went to his son's graduation from college and they are going to have one terrible father's day.

they don't have too, but likely they will. unfortunately funerals tend to be for the living and a disservice to the deceased. if they celebrate the man and accept that death awaits us all and may or may not be the end of our journey. when i say breathe deep, i mean understand that each day and every experience is precious, embrace it and then let go...

What a tragedy!!! The fat bastard probably had a couple of pounds of chili-cheese-fries break loose from a a blood vessel and obstruct him Obamic aorta. Seriously, anybody that looks like the fucking Sta-Puft Marshmallow man at age 50 should not be surprised when the Grim Reaper welcomes you home from a European coke-binge before you reach 60. He was a POS and fortunate to die quickly. It's be nice if MSNBC could spend as much time praising our troops as they have spent on this suicide-by-overindulgence putz. I sincerely don't even give one flying fuck that he's dead.
