David Gregory authoritatively proclaimed on Meet the Press last Sunday that when it comes to addressing the crisis in Georgia, "nuance doesn't work for Democrats," and noted Obama's perceived weakness relative to the Bush administration's "very tough language against Russia."

Talking Points Memo decided to take alook at just how tough the administration talk was against russia. ssssccccaaaaarrrrryyyyy  Wink

I don’t see anything scary.  If Russia was listening to this, they had already paid a very “serious” price for their transaction.  This is diplo-speak for “we are very, very mad at you and will soon send you a strongly worded letter stating that we are very, very mad at you!”

Russia can be dealt with very effectively
without going to war.
Stop the flow of money to Russia by
not buying their natural gas and oil.
European countries have made Russia
wealthy by buying their natural gas,
find another supplier and put Russia
back in the dark ages.
Actually, one reason Russia is invading
Georgia is for the use of ports on the
Black sea. Currently, Russia is leasing
a port in the Ukraine due to expire in 2017.
Russia intends to continue using that port
even if the Ukraine does not sign a new
lease in 2017.

The US media's drum beat is missing in action!
I can't believe they are not attacking Russia for their illegal actions. Hmmmm
Imagine the US doing something like this.

I have an idea- let’s ramp up alcohol fuels and sell that to the Euros.

Gotta keep Russian troops around during the investigation….
