If a 30-year Democrat spoke at the RNC, excoriated his former party, and endorsed the Presidential candidate of the opposite party, would the liberal media cover it? You bet they would. But let a credible, serious republican, who was part of the House Republican caucus for decades, speak at the Dem national convention and endorse Obama .. what does the "liberal" media do ... ignore it.

I see your point gunit, but some of it may be due to Leach's lack of celebrity. An address by Chuck Hagel, for instance, probably would be covered.
