The White House Friday, Oct. 17, 1924: Members of the Coolidge Theatrical League visit
Pres. Coolidge to pledge their support to his reelection campaign. In the front row, from
left, are Mrs. Coolidge, John Drew, Broadway legend and great-great uncle of Drew
Barrymore, Pres. Coolidge and the one and only Al Jolson.

OswaldTheOsprey

Coolidge was a great man, and a great president. He didn't do a lot, but at the time, that's exactly what needed to be done.

Keep Cool With Coolidge!

How do you guys post your pictures? I see none of Oswalds and all of Mr. Ds images. Does one upload from the comp and the other link to a website?

Just curious, that's all.

it looks like oswald's are from photobucket -- maybe that website is blocked for you at work?

mister d's seem like they are from all over the net

you can also attach photos to messages rather than just linking them

for example...

Gary Cooper made more than one colonial picture Mr. D-this is Cooper in "Lives Of A Bengal Lancer" from 1935.

OswaldTheOsprey

I've never seen that film. I'll have to check it out.

With the mustache and the fancy uniform, it's hard to recognize Cooper!

It's a bird, it's a plane...No! It's a whole fleet of biplanes flying over Portland, OR in 1920.

Was this before the oil companies bought out the trolley systems and destroyed them because they ran on electricity, in order to pave way for big oil-consuming vehicles?
