I like the early war uniforms. Steel helmets weren't standard issue until 1916, I believe. Some of the outfits still had a little 19th century flair.

I can't argue with that. As you probably noticed, I have a fascination with war but I do understand that it may appear obscene.

Oh no, Mr. D. Most wars start with hoopla and end with everyone sick and tired of it.

Nice color pic of Spanish Blue Division members. Some 13,000 Spaniards volunteered for service with the German army. They were renowned for their ferocity and fatalism.
