 Also true.  But that does not mean they relish the resulting suffering from the punishment and it does not mean that they believe homosexuals to be beyond forgiveness and grace. 


Mike- no problem.  I am all for jokes in combination with good argument.  I apologize for doing a PLF (parachute landing fall) on your head. 

Also, not all religions believe homosexuality is immoral. The Quakers are more accepting of homosexuals than, say, the Southern Baptists. It varies from group to group, though. They don’t have a hierarchy like the Roman Catholics or the Mormons or other churches, so there is no official stance on the matter.

to be fair, i do think even now the vast majority of hiv infected individuals are homosexuals. i don't know the data, that's just my assumption. i did also read that one out of every two hiv patients in this country is black. i would attribute that giant number to drug use.

In the West? You might be right. I haven't checked the stats. As for the rate among Blacks it has more to do with lots of unprotected sex and Black male machismo.

To social conservatives, the only way to destroy HIV is to kill all the homosexuals in the United States. Science is a BIG no-no to social conservatives. It's evil.
