Zeitgeist

This one should piss everyone off....."Zeitgeist" the movie.

I saw this a few months back and was impressed. Religion, politics, money...enough to get a fight started at a pacificist's Christmas gathering.

I recall Carl Sagan once said "extra-ordinary claims require extra-ordinary evidence", and this movie certainly provides that. I don't agree with all the conclusions, but it certainly raises all the debates to a more intellectual level.

"contact" was a carl sagan movie too right? based on his book? i really liked it

Carl Sagan didn't make "Zeitgeist" - my apologies for the confusion. Yes, "Contact" was based on the book (which is an incredible work, in my opinion, as are all books by Sagan).

I'm not sure who made this movie, but he sure did his research. Part 1 sounds like he read a LOT of Joseph Campbell (who I like almost as much as Sagan).
