There was a story on the news recently about two boys who were punished because they would not pray to Allah during a presentation on Islam in a public school somewhere in the south. To this I say, what the hell?

I find religion as a whole to be reprehensible, but it is Islam in particular that I am worried about. The "religion of peace" is destroying American culture. Instead of promoting American values, we are bending over backwards to adapt to the values of other cultures. This is America. This is not Mexico. This is not Iran. This is not Israel. This is AMERICA. We should promote AMERICAN values. Am I incorrect in thinking that a person who immigrates to America should adopt American values and customs? Would an American immigrating to France not be expected to adopt French values and customs?

Theodore Roosevelt was a smart man. His views on immigration included assimilation. Barack Obama's views on immigration include mandating Spanish in the public school system.

America is on the decline. If we don't stand up for our values, we will be destroyed.

I would very much like to see this story about American students being PUNISHED for not praying to Allah.

I would also like to see a source which proves that Obama plans to mandate Spanish as an American language.

You are correct that people who migrate to America should act like Americans.  But I don't see this country declining in culture or values.

I think some people just have a cultural identity crisis and freak out when they see other people doing what is in their right to be doing.

Our culture is safe and secure.  Let's keep it that way and quit worrying about it.
