Drugs shouldn't be legalized; only harmless ones should be decriminalized, and harmful pharmaceuticals should be better restricted.  And doctors should stop handing out opiates like candy.  Opiates DO kill people and are horrible for the body.

Liberals are concerned primarily in the rights of individuals as it applies to them.  The fail to consider the good of the whole which should be the primary focus of a representative democracy.  If you focus on the interests of a particular sect of society you must give equal focus to all groups.

The country was founded and has endured on a set of principles that has stood the test of time.  If it isnt broke don'ty try to fix it. The only reason we have partisanship is because the Democrats are tired of getting thier ass kicked in the election for the White House.  Our nations economy is in trouble for the same reason it was back in 29. People were extended credit that did not have colateral, nor sis they deserve it.  The downturn stems for this....no housing ...no construction...no construction no jobs..of course there are other factors involved.

Credit shoudl be like respect you should have to earn it....It should just be given to you.

It is broken, and it needs to be fixed.

The "good of the whole" does not apply to what people do with themselves in privacy.  Otherwise masturbation would probably be illegal.  I'm surprised it is not, yet.

The good of the whole is what has left to the way side for affirmative action and other BS laws that manifest animosity towards another group.

The good of the whole is what keeps the power from being abused.  When respect for the past is not given we will be doomed to repeat it.

Respect is what this country used to be about.  Pride in our country ...our nation....It has been replaced with a false sense of pride this generation has talked itself into and now believes as truth.

The biggest problem in this country is parents don't parent thier children.  Parents tell thier children that they are something they arent and when they hit the real world they get slapped right in the face.  This false sense of pride leds to an attitude of entitlement from everything and everybody.

Parents need to teach thier children well....have boundaries for thier teenagers... and teach boys how to be men...Those values are disappearing rapidly.  If we don't get them back we are going to be in big trouble.  The problem isn't entirely the governments fault...it lies with its people. And its people are letting thier country down.

Go for it.

I agree with Trex about parents not being parents but it's a cultural, not political issue.

It is largely cultural, and I think, natural.

Obviously the pressures of society have a lot to do with why parents raise their kids differently, so I'm saying that the results you describe are natural.

Yes the results are natural when you drop your kids off everyday for someone else to raise them.

I agree.  But why do parents let other people raise their kids?
