As much as I like new membership I and can't help but notice a certain inconsistency with some posters. Was there too much negativity, Spunk? It was perfectly OK for you to make outrageus statements about religious people (just Christians actually) and resort to endless caricature when addressing an opposing viewpoint.
Can we get some more grownups here? You know, people who just ignore what they find unreasonable or stupid instead of crying about it?

You all have good points. Thanks for being honest. My intent was not to imply "You guys are being mean, so I'm leaving" although that's roughly what I said.  I was feeling like I was doing more damage than good on these boards; like I was doing more dividing than uniting. Things didn't pan out as openly as I expected them to--but in reality, does anything? Some of you think I'm just a young buck (or schmuck) who can "dish it out but can't take it". So I'm back to save the universe and prove you wrong. |
