« on: May 22, 2008, 10:11:41 PM »

These are questions originally composed by the Family Steering Committee, which was composed of the families of the victims of 9/11.

This is the group of people that put the pressure on the US Government to do a national investigation into the attacks, which eventually led to the 9/11 Commission.  To this day, few of these questions have been adequately answered.

I am challenging each person on these boards to find an answer or demur to each of these questions, as confirmed by factual information anywhere on the internet.  Remember, some questions HAVE been answered--but I'll give you credit for them anyways.

I'll reward each answered question with a karma point to the responder!

There are at least 100 questions.  I think you may find this challenge quite interesting.

Cool!

I vote present just like Barak did habitually in the Illinois senate.

I also am for change.  Any change.  Just like Barak.

It is a joke, but it doesn’t seem funny any longer.

Number 4- NO
Number 9a- Because Clinton did not have a law under which to charge O.B.  [Problem, O.B. had declared war on the US (and the West) so I am not sure what law Clinton needed to take him out.]
Number 11- Yes, but bureaucratic incompetence screwed the pooch as usual.
Number 19- Not a damn thing

Peter gets some karma!  You'll have to wait an hour for me to give you a second, and another hour for a third...

About question 4.  What does "NO" refer to?

Also, to be fair, could you provide a source for information?  Not that I don't agree--but are there facts to back this up?

You must be kidding me.

Me?  I'm not kidding.  These are questions that the families asked the government, and never got answers for.

I think if the government can't answer them, maybe we can.

Number 4 shouldn’t be no, but rather “the CIA and that FBI didn’t, and still rarely do, share vital information because the organizations are more interested in looking good than protecting America.”
Source common knowledge.

Number 9a: source, the first half is a Clinton quote.  The second half is from me.

Number 11:  source- my brain.

Number 19: common knowledge.

Acceptable enough.  I gave you another point.  Still have to wait for the other two...
Can somebody give peter a point for me?  Grin

That's true.  The FBI and CIA and all those others with important-sounding acronym names always say that they don't disperse certain information on the basis of national security.  My question is, what is so SECRET about the attacks on 9/11 that it took everyday people to come together and pressure a national investigation, 3 years after it happened and with minimal cooperation from our leaders?

It took $100 million to investigate Bill Clinton's infidelity.

$3 million was initially invested into investigating 9/11, which was later raised to $14 million.  The investigation lasted only a year and a half.

It took 3 days to start a national investigation on JFK.  AND there were multiple hearings involved, with multiple people.

2 days for the Watergate scandal to begin national investigation.  Again, there were trials.

It took 441 days for a national investigation into the events surrounding the attacks on US soil on 9/11 to start.  Although hundreds of people around the country were "detained" as having possible information or affiliation with the 9/11 attacks, NO TRIALS WERE EVER HELD.  WHY?   Angry

I think that a full 9-11 investigation can only make the government look incompetent.  That is why the investigation was as it was.

It doesn't matter how it makes the government "look".  Thousands of people died, and our FUCKING CAPITOL WAS ATTACKED.  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

People want answers.  We PAY these people to do these kinds of things, and this is how they respond?  Barely at all?

It is such bullshit.

If the incompetence was bigger in what could have been the prevention of the attacks than the incompetence in the government not investigating them, then we are all in serious trouble.  SERIOUS trouble.

If it was that bad that they won't tell what happened, it's over.  We can't trust our government.  Period.

And also, nobody can say that this war is about terror if we don't even know what truly happened.

Where the fuck is Osama BinLaden?  Why do we NEVER hear about this ass pimple anymore?

Peter.  Tell us.  Is the military instructed to give a shit about this ass hole, or is it just as redundant to the armed forces as he is portrayed in the media???
