The government needs to straighten its act up.

You’ve all heard about the case of the 12-year-old girl who was killed in Vermont recently. It turns out that her stepfather and uncle are not the cleanest individuals around, the latter having been arrested for the kidnapping of the girl and the former having been accused of holding child pornography in Alabama. Why the mother of this poor child didn’t tell her is beyond me, but that’s not what I’m getting at here.

The government needs to straighten its act up and work to get these people off of our streets. In my mind there is no group of people more disgusting than child pornographers. Instead of worrying about people smoking marijuana or injecting themselves with heroine, the government needs to worry about the people who harm the most innocent members of our society.

If you’ve been convicted of owning any form of child pornography, you should be locked up in jail for 40 years to life. I’m sick and tired of these people being let off for “good behavior” after just a few years. If you’ve been convicted of raping a child, you should be executed, no exceptions. Perhaps I’m getting a little communist-authoritarian here, but you must understand my concern.

Women should not be treated differently, as well. If a woman has been convicted of having sex with a minor, she should get the same punishment as a man. When was the last time you saw a female rapist get the same sentence as a male rapist? Think about it.

I agree. These people are living rot. They should be considered as dangerous as any murderer. I have no sympathy for it and fully support the most drastic of punishments.

I will grant that a male will be psychologically damaged by a female predator but do you really thnk it's the same? I don't know...it just seems like boys would consider sleeping with a hot older woman to be the most awesome experience of their life thus far.

A female predator is just as capable of being a savage monster as a male predator. People have a “Mrs. Robinson” complex when it comes to this issue - the idea that sexual interaction between an older female and younger male is somehow more acceptable and less demonic than sexual interaction between an older male and younger female.

If a male should receive the death penalty for rape, so should a woman. It’s only fair.

Older women/younger male is obviously the grey area of the discussion. I would be willing to let this go case by case. Sometimes these things are victimless. For instance, when I was about 16 or 17 years old a lady who lived across the street came over and more or less asked me to fu#*. I didn't do it because she was fugly as hell, but had she been... it would have been a different story. Another example, a friend has a 15 or 16 year old daughter who is dating a 29 year old guy. For at least 4 months now. She is a nice girl, but misled in many ways. I would be completely against this with my own daughter but bc of  her willingness and age I wouldn't classify statutory (sp?) rape under the same crime.

Here is how I would handle the situation…

If I found out my 15 year old daughter was dating a 29 year old man, I would go to the 29 year old man’s house and shoot him. Then I would come back home and yell at my 15 year old daughter until she felt like pure shit, and then forbid her from dating as long as she stays in my house.
