How much are you willing to bet that a majority of people between the ages of 18 and 25 get most of their news from The Daily Show or The Colbert Report?
There is a worrying fusion between entertainment and information in the media today. Instead of getting the facts, we get poorly-written jokes from people who know absolutely nothing about politics. There is also the disturbing occurrence of pro-Barack Obama bias…
But I digress.
If any of you have teenaged children who watch shows like Jon Stewart’s or Stephen Colbert’s, tell them to brush aside the bullshit and tell them the facts. You’ll be doing them a tremendous favor.

If you are implying that I watch Fox News, you are mistaken. I get most of my information online. All news is inherently biased. Fox News is biased, CNN is biased, MSNBC is biased – all of it. Some biases are more recognizable than others. |

If you are implying that I watch Fox News, you are mistaken. I get most of my information online. All news is inherently biased. Fox News is biased, CNN is biased, MSNBC is biased – all of it. Some biases are more recognizable than others. Welcome |

I disagree totally with your sentiments. The Daily show has been on the air for over a decade, and now it is a problem just because Barack Obama is running for President?  I think anything that gets young folks to look at the issues and even current events is a good thing-Whether it is from cyberspace, television or radio. If you are going to blast the John Stewart's of the world, you need to also bring up Rush, Hannity and the rest. It really is no different. This generation is so different from the previous ones. Their attention span is miniscule at best. Again anyway to get their attention of the news is a good thing. Humor seems to work well as does blogs, it seems. |

I'm not sure why it is assumed any of the conservatives here listen to Limbaugh. I tune in from time to time but I haven't listened to Limbaugh (or anyone else) at length for a very long time. Perhaps, 10 years? Who has the time? I'm at work when he is on. Heck, I've been unemployed for about 8 weeks now and I haven't listened to his show or any other. That does give me an ideas though...  |

I love to listen to Linbaugh and M. Savage. thank God for people like them. The liberals are trying their best to put them out of business. They can't handle freedom of speech. I watch Hannity every night. He is a real patriot. don't care much for O'Reiley though. Seems like a phoney to me. I honestly think Savage is as his name would suggest. Limbaugh, however, is a good man regardless of you feel about his politics. I have something of a Hannity and Colmes addiction myself but I don't like the guy. |

I don't agree with everything Savage says, he is more of a shock jock, but he makes me laugh and few people can do that. Some of what he says is really so outlandish. |
