Our victorious, brave troops are coming home to Liberal Democrats that are trying to blow them up. 

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Violence in the central Baghdad area that Lieutenant-Colonel Craig Collier oversees has fallen sharply over the past year, but the wiry U.S. squadron commander cannot afford to be complacent.

Last month, a unit of soldiers that patrolled a sizable chunk of the Iraqi capital adjacent to Collier's zone became one of the first to return home as part of the unwinding of President George W. Bush's troop "surge."

Troops coming home has nothing to do with the level of violence in Iraq. They are coming home because they are unable to maintain troop levels. They've already reduced the time troops spend at home and extended their deployments from 12 months to 15 months.  If georgie thought he could get away with it, he would extend their deployments to 18 months and maintain the current level of troops.
