Him...and Bill O'Reilly, and Ann Coulter.  Their rantings have made more enemies of Americans than those we are at war with, and they will TELL you that liberal Americans hate this country more than Islamic extremists.  They cross the line from political speculation right into personally attacking Americans for their views.

Right now it's quite terrifying to be a liberal--though there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it.

Thanks to them, we have a very tense and ANGRY political populous---probably the most tense since the civil war.  Isn't that just fucking swell.

And they can never just talk to people (who are not hardcore right-wing).  It's always "SHUT UP.  You're an idiot.  I'm turning off your microphone; we're done.  You hate this country.  End of story.  I'm right, you're wrong."

Come on, D-wang.  Being against the war is automatically rooting against the troops in the right-wing's eyes.  I have been chastised and relentlessly insulted for my political views and my war views, and I have been called anti-American in so many words.  Either directly or indirectly.

The point is, the right attempts to use these dirty tactics not only to intimidate the left, but to sway the un-decided who want to do something patriotic for their country.

There is a huge difference. I think the war was a bad idea although I originally supported the adventure. But its all moot now. We are there.
