I know it would never happen but I bet he would win with that ticket.

Except for the fact that a Republican presidential candidate can't have a Democrat as their running mate, and vice versa.  That law was passed way back in the late 1700's. 
McCain's running mate should be Mitt Romney.  It would be like the odd couple series on television, but they would be solid on foreign policy, the war in Iraq and the economy.

well like i said, i didn't expect it to happen. but if it could, wouldn't it assure mccain the presidency? he'd get all of the hillary voters and the conservatives, while disgusted, would just stay home...they surely wouldn't vote for obama. sometimes to be #1 you have to make sacrifices jonny mac

Soaring ... can you provide links to let us know exactly which federal law you're referring to The only one I'm aware of is that the prez and vp can't be from the same state (which forced darth cheney to switch his voter registration from texas back to wyoming).

She would never leave the democrat party, way too liberal. She is hoping that either obama will lose or that he will be a one time flop like carter. She really believes that obama is not qualified and would be bad for this country and the party.
