Smith speaks for himself. If we all minded our own goddamn business we wouldn't be on a forum! Wink

smith participates in forums of this nature to have his opinions validated not to engage in a contest of ideas.

Perhaps he should rent halls and give lectures instead. Wink

McCain, a puppet of the Trotskyite neocons, wants war with Russia over something that is none of this country's business.

OswaldTheOsprey
McCain is not advocating war.
McCain is advocating tough measures to deal with Russia's actions.

Wow

Theodore Roosevelt is supposed to be McCain's hero. Why doesn't he walk softly and carry a big stick?

OswaldTheOsprey
I define walking softly as not darkening the skies with bombers.  Wink

And not publicly blustering and threatening either. Wink

OswaldTheOsprey
The only thing that makes a threat effective is to have the resources to back it up.
A threat is diplomacy, when you have a very big stick.  Smiley

Of course, but one should still walk softly.

It's McCain's domestic policies that scare me. Then again, Obama's are even worse!  Cry

We disagree about some things but neocon ideology has got to go.

Wow

The Russians are not communists. This is old fashioned imperialism.
I'm sure  the Russian Govt. enjoys the benefits of economic freedom, I'm not sure about social issues. They are restricting free speech and religious freedom.

How?

I'll assume your definition of walking softly is to assume the doggy-style position.

McCain called for Russia to be thrown out of the G8 a year ago!

McCain knows foreign policy as well as Obama knows how to smoke crack!

You decide!

Personally, I would like to see the U.S. out of the G8, NATO, NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, the UN and all other entangling foreign alliances.

I'm the new kid on the block, and apparently the eldest.  I was born 10/27/1943.  I already have my medicare card. Shocked
