just listened to paul's first q&a.  the best he has sounded to date.

he sounded exactly the same as every other time to me

and he always turns it around to american foreign policy...he makes it sound like if we close all our overseas bases then all our problems (economic, foreign, domestic etc) would just float away...just float away like an untethered blimp

yeah but the voice didn't quiver and by and large he stayed on point.  he can't help himself re military commitments but that aside a good start for the dr.

I think it is more important for him to get his message out. He knows he doesn't stand a chance at being elected.

that would be nice, but surely he wants the power of the potus. he wouldnt be running for president if he didnt think he was the best suited and wanted to win. i agree with you that it is good that people like he and kucinich on the democrat side stay in as long as possible to force the mainstream candidates to have to discuss real issues
