No, I don't have AOL.  A friend who has AOL sent the poll to me.  I have never had AOL, and agree with all of you.  But, if AOL swings left, then why would McCain be leading by so much?

I didn't mean to imply you used AOL. My issue with AOL is just that they bombard people with their crappy DVDs (while paying customers foot the bill) and provide a crappy service. I'm still a capitalist, but thankfully with the freedoms of this country I can tell it how it is and say AOL is overpriced. If you are going to pay for internet you are much better going with ATT, Time Warner, Cox, Comcast, or a number of other companies. They all have problems but none are as incompetent as AOL. Anyhow, I would question the validity of the poll simply because I am not certain AOL has ever gotten anything right and I think their security is highly suspect.

AOL is free if you have your own connection.  But then that begs the question - why use AOL.

The AOL polling section is definitely left.  Perhaps it is a function of the members being left.

I have not seen the poll.  But I have seen hundreds of AOL polls and they lean left.  Maybe they are moving right?

You guys are missing the point. AOL is easily hacked (like Diebold) and thus, I wouldn't read too much into the results. If it makes any of you happy then by all means celebrate...I don't mean to rain on the parade

Easily hacked… same as all online polls.  I troll DUmmies (Democratic Underground) and when one of the freaks finds a political poll they post about it and say “DU this poll.” That of course ruins any possible scientific validity of the poll (not that it had any chance of scientific validity before the DUmmies infested it.)
