Have ya'll seen this  Huh

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/tt05KC3Add8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/tt05KC3Add8</a>

It's John Cornyn's (R-naturally) Big, Bad John video.

It seems like he's in a tight race for re-election in TEXAS.

A new Texas Lyceum poll shows Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and challenger Rick Noriega (D) in a statistical dead heat for U.S. Senate.

Cornyn edges Noriega, 38% to 36%, but within the poll's 4.5 point margin of error.

Key findings: 70% of Texans believe the country is on the wrong track and only 23% say "things are moving in the right direction."

Wow ... even Texans know the country is all f***ed up. Amazing   Shocked

John Cornyn is not a very bright individual. In 2004, he wrote this concerning the debate on the Federal Marriage Amendment: “It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean it is right … Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife.”

Only in Texas can a man this ignorant be elected to serve in such an important government body.

What's wrong with that statement? Oh let me guess..you're gay. Deal with your disorder/disease what have you. Leave normal humans alone. Thanks. Again, the state has no interest in acknowledging a biological dead end. No one is oppressing you except your own screwed up genes.

Then why doesn't the state prevent 80 year olds from marrying Huh Or sterile men/women Huh

In both cases they are *biological dead ends* ... but THEY are allowed to marry.

Neoconservatives are so much fun. They're like chimps in a cage at the zoo - you can't help but laugh at how silly they act.

At least you didn't "withdraw from the conversation immediately".

In both cases they are *biological dead ends* ... but THEY are allowed to marry.

What interest does the state have in preventing normal, healthy relationships? As for childless couples, the state should not be forcing anyone to have children. It should, however, encourage reproduction at least at the replacement level.

On the other hand, the state has every interest in not legitimizing a perverse union of two men or two women. It has every interest in preventing the corruption of the most basic of social units. That might be why gay unions have never been legitimate in any human society. Indeed, societies much more open to homosexual behavior (ancient Greece, for instance, where such behavior was still often frowned upon contrary to the propaganda of homosexual activists) never considered the question of homosexual marriage. Why not?

Again, gay marriage is about social acceptance, not "rights". Stop kidding yourself.
