Clinton and Obama are both co-sponsoring this bill. Is it bad, good, or just feel-good?

Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan) and Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Kentucky) co-wrote the Fair Currency Act, a bill "intended to crack down on countries that manipulate their currencies in order to gain an edge in international trade."

Many U.S. manufacturers and unions – as well as their Capitol Hill allies – say that China is the main currency offender...

The Stabenow-Bunning bill would impose retaliatory duties on goods imported from countries that manipulate their currencies.

Hahahaha!!!! Better not explain elementary economics to Stabenow & Bunning, or they might realize just how much egg is on their face right now.

Unless it invovles baseball, Bunning won't understand anything that's said.

Indeed, Senator Bunning is not the brightest fellow in the world.

Neither is George Allen.

And Mike Huckabee.

Well, my God, a lot of Republicans aren’t very bright. Who knew?  Tongue

The Clintons would never go through with it.  China is funding them right down to their Dr. Scholl's inserts.
