Kill them! Kill them twice!

among the abundance of ridiculous washington antics this has got to be towards the top of the list at least for today.  specter like pols in general and senators in particular stays awake at night considering how to place himself in front of a willing reporter and generally make a fool of himself.  specter is very concerned with the nfl's handling of tape gate and threatens the anti trust exemption of the nfl if answers are not provided.  is there nothing else of importance for our noble leaders to attend to?

yes he is a republican and not a conservative, there is a difference.  this guy has to me at least, always been pining for the supreme ct and maybe he sees this of constitutional importance?  i don't know beyond being convinced that he is an idiot.

there can be no way that spector's action here is connected to trying to get a seat on the supreme court...i mean things are bad in politics right now, but they aren't that bad! i didnt know he had designs on a seat.

i wouldnt worry about it grumpy, and besides obama won't be appointing a republican any time soon  Wink

now while i do think this should be outside of the realm of congress worrying about it,

i do believe there's something rotten in denmark

namely, the NFL destroying all the evidence before anyone could look at it.

and the NFL claimed to do a thorough investigation but never even spoke to a guy who was cameraman for the patriots for many years.

espn has a big expose about this

Former Patriots video assistant hints at team's spying history

dont cheer for the CHEATERS tomorrow, cheer for NEW YORK GIANTS!!!

did not mean to imply that this particular exercise in idiocy was reflective of his scotus aspirations.  but if you have ever watched a scotus confirmation hearing and listened to this idiot ramble on re "super duper precedent" i think you would agree that the good senator has wet dreams about sitting on the bench.
