Cuba and Russia, in case you haven't noticed, are murderous, oppressive shit-holes which are ruled by one thing: Fear.  That some of you are speaking about them as if they are free nations is just fucking incredible.

Sounds like the United States....ruled by a murderous, oppressive shit hole/psychopathic power mad megalomaniac, ruling the country with fear and brainwashing, killing Americans for oil so he and Cheney can get PHAT. OOOH watchout today, it is a level orange terrorist threat day. (Everyday that Bush is in office, and the rest of the murderous, fearmongering, psychopathic, megalomaniac gang, is a level red terrorist day). That you think you live in a free nation, or that you believe you are still free in the United States, or that you believe that the constitution is still in tact and means anything, or that the Bill of rights hasn't been destroyed, or that Habeas Corpus is still in effect, or that Passe comatatis hasn't been eradicated by Bush and his handlers ( The fascist, globalist, New World Order shit holes), is just fucking incredible!!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Incase no one has officialy welcomed you, let me be the first...WELCOME TO NAZI AMERICA. Shocked

Please......I implore you, cite one instance to support your Keith Olbermann claims.  Once you've done that, explain to all here why you haven't stolen a boat and run to Cuba.
     Bring it on, brainstem!

Here is one MAYBE even you can understand...MAYBE you can learn something.

This is a well done piece of propaganda.  Yes the international community came together to try to prevent war in the future, but the words are not what is important in regards to practical international law; what is important is the actual conduct of nation-states in applying these international laws.

To think otherwise is naïve.

Another naïve assumption- a violation of the UN Charter is a violation of the US constitution: yes, but….

We have constitutional protections in the US, such as you cannot be prosecuted for a vague law.  What, in the Constitutional sense is torture?  It certainly has nothing to do with what the international community thinks.  American legislation can only define that.  To date, Congress has refused to provide clear legislation: I wonder why.  Cake and eat too?

Saddam and WMD- did he have them?  Our little child on the video says that the claim is completely untrue.  But I was in Iraq until one month ago, and there were chemical munitions all over the place and there was over 300 tons of yellow-cake that we sold to Canada!!!!  WMD’s- no of course not.

There is so much wrong with this little video.  The primary flaw is the misconception that international law is akin to domestic law.  It most certainly is not.  Treaties are fine and great, but true international law is the actual custom of nation-states.  And this is good.  Because most nations will sign treaties and promptly disregard them.  The international community is much smarter than the narrator and has no illusions that what truly matters is watching how nation-states implement their treaties by their actions.

And Cuba is relevant how?  I will tell you how- they need to become apolitical double-quick so their very relevant cigars can be legally sold in the US again.  Nobody listens to their political ranting; plenty of people love their cigars.
Peter, I don't understand this "all-powerful, listen to the big guys and ignore the little insignificant guys" kind of attitude you have.

You're becoming just another D-wang and Grumpy (hint: not something to be proud of)

Cuba is not a threat to the US.  Some politicians try to make it seem like Cuba is a threat but it is not.  I am not belittling Cuba - I am pointing out a fact.  Every time Cuba makes a "communist" scene that gets picked up on the news, they hurt their own citizens- not the US.  That is my point.

There is but one D-Wang.
