I have a hard time believing oil companies will let this technology get developed. There's far too much profit in oil.

The advanced process is possibly the only integrated system that converts biomass directly to gasoline. Most other emerging processes convert the biomass into alcohol and then blend it with gasoline.

Why bother mixing the alcohol with gasoline?  Cut OPEC out of the equation all together.

Are you kidding, Gunit? Oil companies will likely be the folks paying for the development.

Biz basics, man.
