Egalitarianism is simply absurd

Jesus fucking Christ.  I suggest that it is a wise political move, and I get attacked for it.  Gorknoids says that little children deserve to die, and everybody leaves him the fuck alone, less gunnit.

you guys are fucking sick.

No, you said little children deserve to die or to more more precise you said it was a wise political move to let little children die. You sure are sick, Spunk.

Although I don't share gorknoid's sadistic attitude towards the situation, I think they're smart to reject American help.  All it would do is allow us to gain control over another troubled territory, and they're smart enough to realize that.  Let them rebuild their own strength, and stand on their own two feet.

BTW, if doling out massive amounts of cash were all it took we would control the world.

Nay, nay, swashbuckler.  I was highlighting the inhumanity in your assertion that the criminals controlling Myanmar are doing the right thing by not allowing relief materials into the country.  The latest update has the cabal permitting some shipments, and then keeping them for the government!  Burma/Myanmar is a disaster, and I'm not talking about the hurricane.  I'm talking about the people who you support.  The "government" which is letting it's own pwoplw starve to death.
That you can talk shit about America trying to help while praising the murderers in power speaks volumes about you, Spunkload.

Ok.  Let's discuss this......
Screw a bunch of little kids who have lost their parents.  It's "The Circle Of Life" from "The Lion King".  "Hakuna matatta", you little bastards!

Let them rebuild their own strength, and stand on their own two feet.

it is heinous.  a sad situation made worse by some sad, pathetic little mad man that would let his people die rather than take help that is freely offered.  i don't know where you get your view of this country or of the world in general spunk, so in obvious conflict with historical fact that you are not worthy of debate.  no the left in this country does not give a damn for any moral responsibility we may have toward iraq and yes we will continue to fight to secure middle east oil so long as we refuse to exploit our own resources.  gunnit you can chant bush lied soldiers died on your drive to work today.

"Freely offered???" You are kidding right??? The psychopathic President and his henchmen (and woman) of this country would not miss a trick using food as a ploy to set up a military base in another country in their ploy to dominate the planet. Perhaps you should read nspd51, hspd20 and the rest of the presidential directives of the few that are available to view. No one knows all of them because the secretive gov. has made laws concerning COG that congress can't even see. So our gov is making laws and concentration camps and a police state. Done away with passe comatitties...pun. There is no Habeous Corpus any more. Our first amendment is in serious trouble. The 2nd amendment is as well. We live now in a fascist government under a dictator named BUSH. We are just days or a few weeks from marshall law in this country, and we are just going to give another country food for free with no strings attached??? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!!! You don't actually believe the bullshit you write on this board...do you? There really are ten steps from democracy to fascism and this gov has done about 6 or 7 of them. All the law framework is now in place for another Berlin. Wake the fuck up!!!!! This is 1938 Berlin all over again and Hitbush has just been put into power. Do you think Nazism was inacted in one day in a big military push against the people? It happened slowely by taking their rights away and chisseling away at their law just like what has been done here. You people really need to get a clue about what is REALLLY going on in this country and how the power game works and who the elite really are and how they work and make the rules. We are in BIG trouble in this country!!! Do some real research and look outside your comfort zone...look outside the box...If you aren't outraged...you are uninformed or live in a bubble or another planet or are on serious meds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But hey...who cares...Like our wonderful president said concerning the constitution of the United States of America which is the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND, It's just a GOD DAMN piece of paper! For that statement alone he should be tried for treason, bent over in front of the white house and have a COPY of the constitution lit on fire and shoved up his ass while someone recites over and over...It's just a GOD DAMN piece of paper georgie boy.

I want to add, when have some of you guys ever gave a FUCK about other countries' needs until now, when you can use the headline to spin whatever bullshit you want?

Either you're All American Mr./Mrs. Patriot who hates all other countries for the sake of hating them, or you're humanitarian and open to helping those in need ALL the time.  Not just when you can make face on it.  Okay?

How bout some fucking consistency.  Please.

Whew!

So for the record you both support poverty and death? OK.

Well, I also believe that there are too many people in Third World countries and I am glad I have some like minded friends!  Smiley

. Yes, it was extremely offensive when Bush called the Constitution "just a piece of paper."

. No, the US is not interested in building military bases in Myanmar. We have sufficient bases next door in Thailand.

. Myanmar refuses all international aid, not just US aid.

. US disaster relief is driven exclusively by humanitarian need. US foreign aid in general is driven by need but also by the US's desire to exert influence.

. Being a patriot means putting the interests of the US first; it doesn't mean hating other countries. Sometimes in asserting the interests of the US, we cause harm to other countries. This is more often a case of error than evil.

bush is evil and so the junta of myanmar should refuse and divert all aid offered from this country.  only through the extermination of their own people will lookout and spunk feel that bush has been adequately protested. Grin Grin Grin Grin

...Sure, d-wang.  Go ahead, interpret what you will.  I don't give a fuck anymore.  Spin it till you're dizzy in the face.

Just goes to show, people in this country are so fucking two-faced.

When we were asked to drop the debt after the tsunami hit Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand, people got so upset in this country that we would give a "free ride" to these countries just because they had a national disaster.  We kept the debt, they still owe us lots of money.  Americans were happy.

Now when we offer help to Myanmar and they reject, Americans are pissed that the country won't accept help--and they think that it's only from the US.  Fuck that.

You think I wouldn't support GIVING them help, if they WANTED it?  What are we supposed to do, shove the help down their fucking throats?  Why does that say I support poverty and death, just because I respect Myanmar's decision?  They don't want help.  Let it fucking be!  When they WANT help, give it to them!  Fucking Christ, this topic is so retardedly asinine.

Gorknoids: So, it's okay to assume this kind of "nonsense bullshit" about other countries' policies that you don't even know about until it's on the news, but you won't even recognize that kind of suppression and bullshit in your own country.  How just.
And don't even begin to assume you know anything about me.  You don't.  Don't be so quick to judge, dammit.

I don’t understand.  What other natural disaster zones has the US taken over using humanitarian aid as a pretext?

The US federal government didn't even take over the Gulf Coast after Katrina!

No.  Instead, the government allowed THEM to rot and die.

That still leaves the question unanswered:

peter you are attempting to find reason within spunk and lookylook....there is no reason to be found instead  there exists only a diagnosable paranoia and unbridled hate for this govt in particular and this country in general.

Iraq was not visited by the US while on a humanitarian mission.  Focus on the question.
