But the Republcan Party's own investigation cleared her of any wrongdoing!

And these are the same people accusing the msm of bias?

Unbeliveable.

Except that the state Legislative Council, which ordered the investigation, and found her guilty, consists of 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats!

Big whoop!! Tho only people who care are the lefties. Look at biden's past  why not. I think we should have a full investigation of obama's deeds while a state senator. Like why he lied about ayers, claiming one time that he was not aware that ayers was a domestic terrorist and then later saying  he thought he had appologized. What a liar. That is more important than troopergate. Give us a break.  Roll Eyes

If I lived in Alaska, I would upset too. Governor Palin abused her position for personal reasons and many people repeatedly warned Palin that her actions were legally dangerous.

She had her personnel director and state attorney general call officials at the Department of Public Safety about a personnel matter. Didn't the attorney general know that such issues are confidential? If the Public Safety department had actually engaged these conversations, Palin would be in much deeper legal trouble.

Glass, the guy who got put on "administrative leave" for carrying out the Governor's wishes "tried to sound the warning that continuing to pressure anyone and everyone in the matter would end in an unbelievable amount of embarrassment for the Governor and everybody else."

The report says she knowingly "permitted Todd Palin to use the governor’s office and the resources of the governor’s office, including access to state employees, to continue to contact subordinate state employees in an effort to find some way to get Trooper Wooten fired."

Palin fired Monegan which was okay according to Alaska law, but the guy she replaced him with only lasted a week - he resigned due to the reemergence of a 2005 sexual harassment complaint. According to the published report, the replacement testified that when contacted by Glass, the staffer's exact words were "Todd is really upset with Monegan."

Yuck. All of this was published before Palin was the VP candidate. Just a portion of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act states that "A public officer may not use state time, property, equipment, or other facilities to benefit personal or financial interests; attempt to benefit a personal or financial interest through coercion of a subordinate or require another public officer to perform services for the private benefit of the public officer at any time."

Well, I don't put much stalk in a political witch hunt. It was political even before she became the nominee. Some people don't like people who do their jobs well. Look at the crap Clinton went through. All the slime came out from the woodwork. This stuff sickens me. Especially when its so very partisan. Reasonable people see through this stuff. obama being friends with a known domestic terrorist and who lanched his campaign in this person's livingroom is something we should be concerned with. I remember while at the police department, ayers wife was on the FBI 10 most wanted list for quite awhile. I don't want an anti American, someone who only finds fault with this country being the president. Is there something wrong with that? I don't want a pack of lefties in control which is what will happen if this person is elected and we will all be worse off for it.

Not really, because Ayers was not a terrorist, and Obama never denied that he had worked with him on constructive community projects.  If there was any implication that Obama worked with Ayers on destroying the country, we would know.  You're barking up a dead tree, Pitty.

But I agree, this conviction doesn't say too much about Palin, other than she has a past of running her politics based on personal interests.

It appears Hussein worshipers think it's ok for law enforcement officers to get DUI offenses, taser 10 year old children for kicks and spend the taxpayer's money like drunken sailors.

This is an example of how Hussein's Gangstas are destroying America!  Undecided

"palin guilty"  is this a judicial finding and has this case been reviewed by the appropriate legal authority in alaska?

And Obamas weren't? Isn't it ironic that his wives salary tripled after Obama precure federal funds for the hospital she worked at?  Ironic. I thought she would be proud of her country on that day. Oh Sorry we aren't supposed to talk about Michelle.....they are both frauds...

Why is Ayers not a terrorist?
