Q1 orily asks mrs bill what she thinks about ole rev wright and how she feels about his commentary as "an american". mrs bill is outraged..... it struck me that if orily was that interested in the public remarks of public people he might have asked her about calling the commander of our troops on the ground a liar, he might have asked mrs bill how she felt about murtha's declaring our marines murderers, he might have asked about commentary from various members of congress comparing the prez to hitler and our soldiers to nazis and gitmo to gulags, he might have discussed mr peanut's suckup to hamas or pelosi's tea party with assad, he might have discussed the mockery her recent lies about sniper fire make of those men presently serving and enduring sniper fire.... Q2 gas....its expensive, big oil is to blame and no discussion of a strategy to move this country from it's dependence upon foreign oil was entertained??? Q3 we are going to mandate health care and the govt is somehow going to run this monstrosity efficiently, no challenge to this premise was raised and no discussion as to the costs. Q4 taxes....prepare to be taxed. no discussion at all regarding the actual increase in revenues this country has witnessed and the growth of govt? ? Q5 i guess orily wanted to know why people basically don't like mrs bill? so far this has been the most ridiculously inane interview of a presidential aspirant that i have ever witnessed. a non-stop ass kiss/ball lick affair, complete with orily giggles and mrs bill cackles...

my god it was tough but thank god the couch is just to damned big. can't stand either of these two clowns. back in the day orily was at least entertaining for the shock jock value, now this fained position of moderation is nauseating. as for mrs bill there is little that i can say that i have not already.

I fell asleep to the interview after coming home from a drinking bout. Maybe it was the interview and not the beer that gave me a headache?

For her to go on a show like that is not much different from going on one of the daytime talk shows (The View, Ellen, etc.). Don't expect a serious interview about real issues. Entertainment value trumps all.
What I don't get, since the entertainment value of O'Reilly's show comes from his outrageous bombastic interrogation style, is what the point was. I assume he had to agree to be "nice" for her to come on. But what's the point of her being on the show if the interview is going to be a snoozefest?

O'Reilly reaches a lot of people. What does she have to lose?

True. I was wondering more from the point of O'Reilly. I'd think his fans are mighty disappointed with his meek performance. I assume the terms of the arrangement gave her complete control over the content, because the interview was so vapid.

i really have come to believe that fox is absolutely gunning for bo as much as pmsnbc is gunning for mrs bill??? i tend to bounce back and forth between the two with an occasional sojourn to cnn and the coverage is clearly slanted. fox has been hammering bo relentlessly for awhile now and pmsnbc the same for mrs bill even longer. cnn is soft on mrs bill but not so obviously slanted toward one or the other.

Of course I am only judging by the primetime shows and not their reportage.

I agree. Fox has been all over Obama. Told you. Fox will not let this Wright issue die. I was also disappointed in Orielly. He sold out his own program for the wife of a man whole president. Doesn't matter. Bo wins the demo nomination, but loses the general. Economy is bad enough without having to be taxed to bring the have nots back up to speed.

The Wright issue could have died within days of its start if Obama had unequivocally denounced him and Wright had shut the hell up until November. Wright's ego and big mouth finally forced Obama's hand but the damage has been done.
