Saudi Arabia rebuffs Bush on oil production RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Saudi Arabia’s leaders made clear Friday they see no reason to increase oil production until customers demand it, apparently rebuffing President Bush amid soaring U.S. gasoline prices. It was Bush’s second personal appeal this year to King Abdullah, head of the monarchy that rules this desert kingdom that is a longtime prime U.S. ally and home to the world’s largest oil reserves. But Saudi officials stuck to their position that they will only pump more oil into the system when asked to by buyers, something they say is not happening now, the president’s national security adviser told reporters. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24660754/It's not their fault we have an incompetent prezident.

Saudi Arabia is NOT "home to the world's largest oil reserves."

Someone tell me, why arent we digging for our own oil in this country? I don't understand. I know a guy who used to work in the oil fields in Houston. What happened? At one time I worked for Gulf oil in my youth. I was an assistant to one of the geologists.

Ms. Conlevy:
Which political party in Congress has - by far - the highest percentage of its members who have voted to BAN drilling for oil in ANWR, offshore USA and in the Rocky Mountains?
Please be specific.

it is in the interest of all oil men, whether they be saudi or texan, to have artificial limits on supplies to jack up the price.

If you were PURCHASING 1,000,000 bbls. of oil, would you prefer to PURCHASE it at $80 per bbl. or $120.00 per bbl.?
HMMM?
You seem to think the American oil companies set the price of crude oil.
You are ignorant in the extreme if you believe so.
THE IGNORANCE OF THE AVERAGE MAN-ON-THE-STREET WITH RESPECT TO ECONOMICS IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!

He won't answer you, Grumpy.
He is like all liberal idiots (redundancy).
They don't have ANY of the answers, just complaints.
That's why they are littlepeople and will always be littlepeople.
Liberalism is synonymous with ignorance.
